AG's Founder, Daniela Sebova, EdD developed the concept of Functional Leadership Development™ based on extensive research of leadership development and transformational learning. The concept is grounded in proven theories that focus on behavioral adaptation and creation of meaningful change. By applying a functional approach to leadership development, she helps her clients unlock the leadership capacity in themselves and in their organizations. Dr. Sebova holds a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership Studies from Northeastern University. 

Functional approach to leadership development is based on holistic understanding of human behavior and development. Approaching leadership development in a holistic way allows us to understand one's behaviors and tendencies as a function of complex inner mechanisms and assumptions that drive them. Just like in medicine, functional approach to leadership development focuses on the underlying causes of behavioral tendencies and coping mechanisms that are deeply embedded in the way we operate in the world and how we know the world.  Functional Leadership Development™ can be applied in individual as well as in collective contexts.
